Hello, I'm yumi. I'm a graphics designer and an illustrator. My current interests at the moment involve watching/reading popular anime and manga like most other people. (ex: Reborn!, Death Note, Bleach, etc.) I'm currently enrolled in college and I have a somewhat busy life, but I will continue to do artwork as much as I can in my free times. Each and every one of my artwork that I complete takes a long time to finish, mainly because of heavy procrastionation, motivation, and self-perfectionism. 1. What tablet do you use to cg?
| Wacom Graphire 2. It's 4 x 5. |
2. How long does it take you to finish each picture?
| It depends, but usually it takes about 2-3 weeks. Original pieces take longer to finish because I need to create my own ideas out. |
3. How long have you been cging?
| About 1 year and half - 2 years. |
4. What programs do you usually work with?
| I usually use Photoshop Elements 3.0 most of the time for every artwork I create. I have painter xi and Photoshop 7.0, but I rarely use those. I also have open canvas 1.1, but I don't really use it unless for specific reasons. |
5. How do you do hair?
| Everything explains in depth on my tutorial. If you have more questions about something, feel free to ask. |
6. Do you use any reference if you wanna draw this or that? Any tips?
| Of course. I'm not perfect at drawing out human forms in my artwork that all come from my little head. I believe when it comes to drawing realisitc people you will always need some sort of reference for specific reasons whether if you're really skilled or not. When using references, just be sure to use it for a guide to help your way through, not for something to copy exactly from. |

10. What inspires you mostly?
| Music is the main thing that inspires me. If I listen to something nice (depends what it is) it gives me ideas and such. 2nd, I get inspiration from japanese art sites since I love visiting them all the time. |
11. What's your major?
| Graphics Designing. I wanted to be a fashion designer at first, but I'm not rich enough to go to fashion school XD |
12. Have you studied art before?
| No, I don't really study art. I've taken art classes in high school before, but I never really paid any attention. Mostly I'm just self taught. |
13. Can you teach me how to draw?
| No, I can't. If you want to learn more, you can look at my tutorials. I suggest looking at other helpful tutorials online if you need anything. |
14. Can you request me ___?
| I'm sorry, but I don't take any requests from people unless they're a really close friend of mine. Every picture takes a long time for me to do, but I'll do collabs if I know you well enough. |
